Hosta Rescue and more...

This week we have braved the outer reaches of my property mounting a rescue mission for a range of hostas that were fast disappearing under a pile of wondering jew and bracken. The ravages of the big storm are still evident although with the damage fresh possibilities become possible and little areas of new beauty have been created. To see these look out for the week after next's show.

Also a visit to New Plymouth's beautiful Pukekura Park to see what is happening there. Go on Trademe as they are selling some of their beautiful clinker-built rowing boats.

The new show for Country99 TV is starting to come together Rural Structures New Zealand will be a journey showing old and new structures that have added to our Rural landscape. We aim to have it on air in November and i welcome any ideas you might have for structures and properties we can feature.
